If I missed anything, please just let me know and I will update. There is seriously so much to fix, but we have great ideas.

Oh! I like your retirement idea.

I'd include in- home care covered for seniors and disabled. And temporary nanny help after a birth.

I live in Switzerland we get both. Professional counselors help after birth during 4 years (until school starts).

Same with retirement national plan. And maternity leave national plan. Actually parental leave, dads also get some time off work with their newborn.

You need to add cults (source: Dr. Steven Hassan). First, it needs to be illegal for cult leaders to run for president of the U.S. Second, Psych Education must be mandatory for all, so everyone can identify and resist cults.

Dear lady, your ends are beautiful but I fear your means. Mandatory and Forbidden are words to be feared in the hand holding Power. Can we come together to discern more deeply the lure of the cults to which you refer, the needs which people are seeking to fill in hazarding into them, and the ways we can work together to help each other identify cults and the alternatives for getting those needs met?

There is a lot of good to be had as a starting place for discernment in that oldie but goodie, the ABCDEF https://www.neopagan.net/ABCDEF.html

Funny enough, I've been saying to friends & family for months that we need to do something similar to FDR’s New Deal. But instead of using the taxes from the rich to build bridges & roads, why not use the money to improve the environment? Build bike paths, build safe and green bridges for wildlife, plant trees, clean up our oceans/rivers/ponds/etc, etc. Essentially, build a future.

Build neighborhood green spaces for access to fresh vegetables. I'm all for trees ordinarily, but we have a ton of food deserts, especially in urban environments that could benefit from access to food gardens. Cities with wooded parks could include fruit and nut trees to the non-food trees already there. Whatever hardy type that will grow in the climate.

Hey big guy, you missed a couple of things:

- Dismantle the carceral state. Eliminate private prisons. Add attorney representation to the rights of the accused; do not allow states to abrogate the assignment of attorney representation in any way and restore public defenders in all criminal cases. Incentivize carceral alternatives for non-violent or low-level offenders, i.e. instead of remanding to prison, require convicts to report to skilling programs to obtain certification in skilled work, then complete their parole as a probationary period performing skilled public service.

- Legalize marijuana at the federal level. Expunge criminal convictions for marijuana. Provide restitution to victims of the war on drugs in the form of expedited, preferential, early, etc. access to industry licensure.

- Expunge convictions of prostitution, seal records, and re-identify as victims of trafficking.

- Adopt the ERA, make it enforceable, and establish an agency for its enforcement.

- Establish an Department of Public Good and give it oversight of offices including the US Office of Color of Law, task it to spin up state- and local-level counterparts across the country. Anywhere a DA is an elected offcial, there must be a counterpart dedicated to protecting the rights of the individual and the rights of the public by prosecuting infringement of constitutional rights as criminal offenses, as per felony color of law, etc. and related criminal offenses, for any official found to have infringed up on the constitutional rights of either the individual citizen or against the public good.

- Make the immigration process uniform and end policies and practices that are bespoke according to country of origin. Formalize the naturalization conclusion for DACA recipients. Re-establish military service as an immigration pathway. Create policy that extends some degree of legal status or residency options from citizen family members to non-citizen family members.

I'm fully supporting the positive advocacy focus to this rebellion. It's a new age and past methods of change won't be as effective as they've been in the past imo. As long as we look at both sides of each suggestion you've presented, to keep the big picture in view, I believe it will gain continued support. I would like to add to your list; that no position of State or Federal government made be held by an individual convicted of a felony. I'm sure I'll have more to add at another time. Amen!! and I'd add health insurance for all. When I lived in Canada I paid $56 a month for insurance and it covered everything, even 12 massages, visits to a counselor, etc.

Under voting rights, I would also follow what I experienced in Canada -- an election was called, and politicians had only 90 days to get people to vote for them ... they didn't start campaigning the day after they were elected!!

Thanks God!

"HE" would have had NOTHING of merit to run on. There have been a few politicians that have tried to instill "Campaign Finance Reform" but they were always shutdown. My thought is the more money that gets donated represents the more favors you do for me in the corporate world and the lobbying world too. It's what has caused loads of corruption in politics over the past few years (including 2016, 2020 and 2024)! Abolish the Electoral College. One person, one vote, and EVERY STATE COUNTS. Limit primary campaigns to 3 months and general election campaigns to 5 months. Expand the Supreme Court to match the number of Circuit/Appellate court district, currently 13. Also establish term limits, enforceable ethics rules and have candidates brought forward through each district's lawyers, jurists and citizen commissions, non partisan.

If you cannot get your message out and understood in 4 months then do we really need such a poor communicator representing us?

Also, let's hear it for ranked choice voting to go along with that one person, one vote thing? That way more than 2 people can run (eliminate the "lesser of two evils" thing. and eliminate 1 or 2% of the entire population calling the election for the other 48 or 49%.

You used "public fact checking" like we don't have an institution for this called public libraries. We just need to fund them, protect them, and staff them with librarians. I would say if a strong investment in libraries was made, along the lines of what Andrew Carnegie did back in the late 1800s, the general public would be more educated, and therefore, less misinformation and fact checking would be needed. The nation as a whole would know how to find and look for credible sources. I hate that I have to teach classes to students on Disinformation and fake news. Having said that, it might be wise to do as you said above, only make it a basic education class in school.

All minimum wage proposals seem to contain one glaring fault. They say nothing about retired folks. When I retired in 2016 I thought my retirement income was excellent. I worked for 45 years and many of them were lean but the last 15 years were quite good. My retirement income was about 1/3 what I made when working but today my retirement income is only equal to the current minimum wage, so in real terms of buying power I have lost 30%. (note my retirement is gov. funded not an investment account)

My husband retired from public school teaching in 1999 (he turned 65 right after school ended the year). While his retirement is State Teachers' Retirement, it's COLAs are determined, in part, by investment performance. But COLA's rarely keep up with inflation. If it weren't for Fuel Assistance and occasional use of the Food Bank, we'd be in really touch shape instead of poor shape. Of course, the current administration will eliminate grants for Fuel Assistance and we can forget federal help (or federal cheese) for the food banks.

I would also add a salary cap on all federally elected officials. They cannot make more than a certain amount, not nor can they have more than a capped amount in assets. You want to rule the 98% of this country? You need to live like us. Also, I know the plan addresses healthcare, but I've never understood why those serving in Congress get free healthcare. Most of them are so rich they've never had to make a tough decision such as not being able to take off work for a medical procedure or unable to have a necessary medical procedure because they can't afford it.

Also, tax the fuck out of churches.
