I was suffering from a legitimate medical emergency, but the triage staff in the ER were angry that some of their colleagues--who, unlike me--were medically stable. But their surgeries were deemed elective, and delayed because of the lactated ringer shortage.
So they took it out on people like me.
I was fortunate enough to have the presence of mind to try another emergency room. It took them five minutes from the time I was wheeled in the doors to announce that they were admitting me.
I wonder how many people died because those right-wing emergency medical providers were angry that their colleagues' surgeries were deferred.
I am no longer an organ donor because I won't allow any part of me to potentially go to save the life of a trump supporter.
