I’m surprised that the far right hasn’t gone after Colbert. We watch his cold open and monologue most nights. The First Amendment is still in force; I hope that the same is true of the system of checks and balances.
Then there’s the investigation and the report itself. It’s enough to make me wonder which side of the issue Merrick Garland was on, that of law and democracy or of being nice-nice. There is such a thing as the sin of scrupulosity, i. e. , being overly concerned with details at the expense of the main issues.
I keep waiting for Democrats to DO something! Yes, we need to follow the law, but we don’t have to be nice about it! Quit making allowances for despicable people! If you are in the right, stop effing worrying about appearances!

Were it not for that corrupt MAGA SIX on what used to be our supreme court and the fact that Trump appointed judges should NEVER sit in judgment of the guy that gave them a lifetime job, Trump would have been toast. Torrijos cared about his people. Noriega was about Noriega. Trump has the exact brain type as Noriega. It was my assignment to be his drinking buddy and feed him select information. Until Trump, I never saw a more corrupt thing on two legs. I once asked Tony (Noreiga) about his corruption and payoffs. He answered, "Sure I am corrupt, but I am honest corrupt. I don't hide it and everybody knows it. Your people are just as corrupt, but they hide it. I know lots of you Americans in high places." Trump and his gang won't be hiding it anymore once they think they can secure total power. Now they have Musky the RAT to buy elections and maybe Tick Tock as another propaganda SHIT SITE to spread more lies. Musky is getting his own office in the Whitehouse complex. I guess he really needs that secret service protection and that is why he never gets too far away from Trump. The other reason is that puppet masters must stay close enough to pull the strings of their puppets.
For all the many reasons this felon will now become President again are the two spineless people that enabled it to happen: Mitch McConnell and Merritt Garland. May they go down in infamy.

It was just a matter of time before he came along to point out how very easy it is to be evil.
