Trump has ordered the CDC to cease all communications to the public, including updates to the Bird Flu (now in cows, cats, and humans) that has caused the euthanization (killing) of flocks of affected/infected chickens and geese. That's the cause of the egg shortage. The upside is that the MAGA ignoramuses won't know about the Bird Flu hazard and think that escalating egg (and inevitably milk/dairy) prices indicate Trump's incompetence rather than non-communication. Of course, Trump's order that CDC & NIH cease a number of research projects delays development of a (horrors!) vaccine for Bird Flu, and that order really screams INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT.
I did my weekly shopping today, and egg prices have actually stabilized. I don't expect that to last. Everything else keeps going up little by little. I will sit back and enjoy seeing the MAGAs get screwed until they whine for mercy. I think I was a dominatrix in another lifetime.
The Schlub (AKA the President) is functionally stupid beyond repair. Trying to ditch FEMA is an excellent example of this. Maybe someone needs to drop him on his head. But I have a rich fantasy life.
I could barely make it through the first week and that is without listening or watching anything political save what I read here (thank you for putting some humor in - better to laugh than constantly cry!) It is worse when I hear some of the Magats mention - so I guess it is going to be a long 12 years huh? Dear God in heaven, please do something!

While I did enjoy and appreciate the humor with which this was written - the amount of vulgarity was a little too much for me. The concept was really great but because I do have a super close relationship with the Lord God Almighty some of it hurt my heart. Not the premise - just the language at times.
