Cory Booker is proof positive that GOD IS GREAT! He walks the walk and TALKS THE TALK! God, I hope my mom was watching with you because she had a real thing for Sen. Booker and would do her Roy Orbison growl every time he was on TV.

Time for everyone to stand up and show we’re united and will not be bullied. Show up at a Hands Off rally this Saturday.

I don't fully understand US politics, I hope America isn't as blind to the obvious as the UK is to Brexit. Like it or not, the rest of the Western world has to follow America's lead, and a trade war isn't the way. It is already hurting you internally, and Trump is about to spread that pain to the rest of the world.

Please, America, give us a leader anybody could be proud of.

Richard, we tried. The U.S. population is not monolithic-we're not all morons who voted for a fraud.

The US isn't monolithic but sometimes I wonder. The two House seats up for grabs in Florida today both went to Republicans. Cannot believe it after what Chump has done already in his second term. How could anyone still support him? Not everyone in Florida is a lunatic, but you sure wouldn't know it by the results of today's election. At least Wisconsin Dems showed up in force and proved Elon couldn't buy their election! Way to go, Badgers!

The grand majority of the folks in Florida seem to be idiotic lunatics; I was there, briefly, in the 5th grade, and I can tell you: all those twits grew up and voted. X-P

I felt the same way, Kate, when it came to Brexit. The good news is that I see more and more of you taking a stand against Trump.

It does seem to be growing, but Richard, there’s been a pushback for a long time, since the first term and certainly since he insisted that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. .And decades before, when he outed himself as a racist. I can’t speak to British politics, but I can to these. What’s worse, we’re losing friends like your country because of him, his greed, and his treatment of our democracy like a playroom.

Well, some of us tried and failed miserably. Now we have this incredibly stupid administration in power. Hopefully we can change it in 2026.

Now that the “leaders” in the US are malignant, narcissistic, criminal authoritarians, no one should be looking to this country for anything. The South never got over the loss of slavery. They just hired two republicans to represent them, hahaha, to continue to destroy our democracy. You’re not going to find inspiration from the bunch of liars (the republicans) in DC.

Hmm; I've heard the American Civil War called "the slave-owner's revolt." Basically, the 1% convinced the 99% that if the slaves were ever freed, "They'll take yer land! They'll take yer jobs!! They'll take yer /wimmin/!!! States' rights!" (when if the 99% had actually READ the Constitution, they'd find out that the 9th and 10th Amendments give the states, and the people, whatever powers the Feds hadn't kept for themselves). And as a result, they convinced the 99% to go out and fight and die in their battles to preserve their economic base. X-P

Cory Booker didn’t just fill air, like Strom Thurmond did. He talked about the wide range of crises created by the cruel criminals in government.

I appreciate the way he is standing up for us now, but how long will it last since he is a Senator who takes corporate money?
