A state that has drive-thru alcohol daiquiri stands, mixed drink go-cups that fit in a car cupholder, and totes guns everywhere, that forces 10-year-olds to have their rapists' babies and covers up priests' sexual abuses clearly hasn't read the Ten Commandments.

Exactly! Well said!

You are absolutely correct, God. It's so wrong to post them in schools and the state government knows it. Not only is it unconstitutional, you also can't shove religion down children's throat. It'll have the exact opposite effect on them than intended. I know this for a fact, it's why I'm an atheist. It drove me to start investigating and gaining knowledge, not being a subservient drone.

And don’t forget their tourism promoted ($) Mardi Gra Celebration! As far back as 1793 it has been noted that before Lent began, parades & costumes (including cross dressing) were the rage…Get all of your sins out before Lent begins! Do they teach that in this “holier than thou” state of mixed messages? Is this Governor a GOP hopeful after Trump loses?

I agree with your case, but you forgot to copyright them, and they have been in the public domain for too long.

HOWEVER, divine retribution wouldn’t be a bad idea. Get that fire and brimstone ready to rain down on the Louisiana Statehouse! Anybody up for a BARBECUE?!

10. I am not a Christian. I find it very offensive that people want to push Christianity in everyone. That is not ok, and it's not something that I would do with my OWN religion.

I saw a billboard that sums up my feelings on this:

"Your Religion is like your penis, I'm sure you love it and are proud of it,

But I won't let you shove it down my throat."

Politically incorrect, but, spot on!

Fuck your politics, Dave. We don’t live in a totalitarian society quite yet, do we?

What has happened to separation of church and state? I find the Ten Commandments to be ridiculous in church but ludicrous in schools!

They’re back together 😔

I believe in God, I just don’t believe in religion. The Ten Commandments should be kept for private homes and churches. That’s just forcing people into a religion that they might not follow, it’s presumptuous. They need updating anyway my neighbours don’t have ANY oxen for me to covet! Also that bit about not coveting my neighbour’s wife am I ok to covet my neighbour’s husband? Thou shalt not kill - no more mosquito swatting! There should only be one commandment Don’t be a dick!

If we were all nicer to one another that would be a great start!

At the risk of coming off as religious, I share with you the story of Hillel, a rabbi who “goes back a long time ago” … he’s being taunted by his enemies, made to stand on one foot and recite the 613 laws of his bible. He states, “That which would harm you, do not do unto others … that’s the law, the rest of it is explanation.” Yep, live by the Golden Rule!

I believe strongly in separation of religion and state. Prayers have been removed from the classrooms…the commandments should not be allowed.

Losingana should also post examples of TCFG’s specific examples of how to break each commandment. So proud to keep losing and wasting taxpayer dollars on inevitable lawsuits from God and accompanying saints.

They can force this to be in school but they can't forgive school lunch debt? For shame!

As someone who is a UK person, I say 10/10 because you shouldn't be indoctrinating kids, also church should be separate from state etc.
