They went with what they WANTED to be true, not what their common sense way down deep inside told them. The writing was on the wall, but they intentionally walked right past it without looking at it. This is going to get even better as time goes on. Thank you, God!! May the smite be from you! Amen! Awomen!!

Sadly, all of us will suffer, but be patient: everyone will see that the king has no pants, and maybe (miracles do happen) he and his sycophants won’t be around to see 2026.

I foresee a lot of leopards eating MAGA faces. Will probably poison the poor leopards.

Well, while I am pleased that some of his base is finally seeing through his cruelty and lies, it is a bit reminiscent of the horse and the barn door. Now that the horse is running free and trampling everyone and everything into the dirt, what ever will they do? So far, I am not seeing a whole hell of a lot of support for democratic and sane ways to deal with the climate crisis, racism, misogyny - which in large part kept the much saner Harris out of the Oval - or any of the other stack of ills and problems facing us. Instead, far too many are still beating their hate drums. And, if the only reasons Trump got so many votes were 1) hate and 2) money, it would seem that more than half of us have zero understanding of what a participatory democracy really is. Jefferson and Franklin - Thomas and Ben - understood that for a democracy to thrive and grow you need an educated and knowledgeable public. Trumps folk seem to to share his know nothing ideals. Why else would they vote for someone who seeks an end to public education and a re-write of history to reflect his greatness?

I had to buy a new laptop recently. The manager at Best Buy told me it was good that I was buying it now because, due to the proposed tariffs, they expect prices on most of their electronics, phones, and appliances to go up early next year. Just about anything we can name will increase in price mainly because we import billions of dollars' worth of goods from China. Machinery and mechanical appliances are 46.4% of goods imported from China. Furniture, bedding, lamps, toys, paint, games, and sporting equipment account for 12% of items imported from China. This could all go horribly wrong.

Sounds like Best Buy plans some price gouging before the tariffs even become real.

Yeah, I upgraded my phone sooner than planned for the same reason. Worried about what will happen when I need to replace my car, which is likely to be in the next few years.

I don't want to think about replacing my car any time soon.

That's if China even want to export to the US any more. When Brexit put up the UK's costs, businesses went under or stopped importing/exporting. There will be price increases, price gouging by the big guns and likely immediate shortages if he introduces tariffs.

If people can buy whatever they need now, do it. I'm in the UK and I'm expecting it to affect our economy too. I've stocked up on dried/tinned foods, which will be eaten anyway and might save me money over the coming months.

Dear God, Please watch over me in my hour of despair, for I am troubled in my heart that I cannot find my Christian charity to feel compassion and empathy for these fucking morons who voted for this shit.

Father, forgive me, for I am neither amused nor compassionate. Please pray for these lost souls, as I’m unable to right now.

God, you don’t even have to smite the MAGA morons. They’ve smote (is that a word?) themselves. I hope it stings.

Not only is it a word, but when I was growing up, it was the past tense of smite. Every time I see someone write "smited" I gotta grit my teeth a little...

I have magas at work. I will be asking them-are we great yet?

Somehow they forgot he was in the office for 4 years and neither of them got rich....

So let's see what is going to happen. Most devoted cultists still going to find excuses for him anyway, I can bet on that, but some might turn on him. Although, seriously, that dude who was thinking he voted for common man? LOLOLOLLOL!

Check out the timing of a Reuter’s and other articles regarding Federal investigation of Tesla’s self driving systems and fatal accident. It coincides with Elon’s 💵 infusion to the Republican campaign.

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time" -- Maya Angelou. The MAGAts, in voting for Trump, made a pact with the Devil. "I vote for you and in return, you make my life easier. Eff everything and everybody else." When does Satan ever make things easier? When has Trump ever thought of anyone but Trump? The man is a walking tutorial on "How to Break the 10 Commandments", complete with cheats. It's like the word went out: "You, too, can be a MAGAt! No conscience required. Single-digit IQ's need only apply." And they all signed up after church on Sunday. (I know, I need to give the religious reference a rest but seriously, these phonies make my bum want a big dip of snuff!)

AMEN!!! Trumpers turning against him today is just the beginning. The anger of being CONNED will eventually boil over, but IT IS TOO LATE! TRUMP USED HIS SHEEP AS ONE NIGHT STANDS! TRUMP KNEW IT WAS ALL LIES! TRUMP THREW OUT EVERYTHING HE THOUGHT VOTERS WANTED TO HEAR! Liar, rapist, loudmouthed low-class LOUT, CONVICTED FELON, convicted fraud. HOW MANY THINGS DOES IT TAKE FOR PEOPLE TO SEE THAT TRUMP IS JUST A SHEISTER THAT THUMBS HIS NOSE AT OUR LAWS AND NOW LAUGHS UP HIS SLEEVES AT THOSE THAT HE CONNED??? He now got exactly what he wanted, ANOTHER TRY AT DICTATORSHIP! YOU TRUMPERS GAVE IT TO HIM! Ignorance can be fixed with education, BUT STUPID CAN'T BE FIXED! The ONLY answer is to GET RID OF THE MISTAKE ANY WAY POSSIBLE! Impeachment, maybe, but not with this senate!
