So, I somewhat agree with your point that ads could have highlighted some of Harris' positions more, but I also think it was important in this race to give people who usually vote Republican to vote Democrat, and found those ads compelling. My complaint is that the ads overall did not emphasize all the gains made in 4 years by Biden and the Dems. Maybe it was a tough call since Harris was not the central figure if all that Biden helped to pass or put into motion. What I want to know is how ads filled with such nasty rhetoric and outright lies get on the air? An ad for cereal that was filled with misinfo ("No sugar! No calories! No artificial flavors!") would never get on the air, so why are political ads able to spread such awful mis/disinformation as if all of it is the, uh, God's honest truth??

God, I have a question for you. Are you rethinking the concept of "free will" yet? Because it has NOT served us well! If stupid, mean, evil people were not allowed to vote, I'd not bring this up. But they are! So, respectfully, either rid us of these mamering canker blossoms or help us find a way to identify them so that we can take them off the voter rolls. I apologize for being so [seemingly] disrespectful, but having that fetid-flounced dungfly back in the White House has rid me of my usual stellar comportment. Thank you.
