I 1000% think that America needs to pull our heads out and address fun violence, I meant GUN violence. But the fact of the matter is is that the left has tried to get legislation passed for years. YEARS… and the last monumental law, realistically, that was put into effect to slow down this bullshit was the Brady Bill, when Regan was shot. And that was over 40 years ago. Nobody’s even talking about the man that died at that rally, but his wife isn’t talking to BIDEN??? WTabsoluteFUCK??? And dear old Donny hasn’t even tried to call, or text, I’m sure. It’s all just extremely confusing and surreal.

Getting América back to gun sanity will take a series of steps, if we want to be reasonably like all the rest of the countries that even tolerate firearms. Each step would trigger backlash and ultra-conservative panic. Sooo, you can’t get there from here. We’ve created a cowboy mentality (witness TV and movie memes) and there are now more guns than there are people, all in the hands of owners who imagine saving our country from bad guys.
