I agree with you that people who voted for Trump should deal with the consequences of their vote. However, this guy seems like he truly regrets his vote. I think his saying that he is wondering (or whatever word he uses) is partly due to his difficulty with English.

I think that people who truly regret their mistake in voting for the Trumpster Fire, can admit their mistake and accept their consequences like an adult should get a little bit of our sympathy. Yes, they should be informed voters, but with wealthy oligarchs controlling our government through their political donations, many people don’t have the time to do their research while working three jobs just to get by. This is why Substack like yours, God, are important. We need to spread the word to the masses about scum like the “Trumpster Fire” so people can’t get fooled by the media and politicians bought by the oligarchs.

Sigh; it's always been this way...the rich "knights in shining armor" could hire all the bards, troubadours, etc. to spread the word about how "EEEVIL!" the "dark" or "black" knights were. Usually, they were "dark" in the first place because keeping your iron and steel dark, or pre-oxidized (as in, why they left the Statue of Liberty green; that oxidation layer protects her from further oxidizing = "rusting"), helps /protect/ metal from corrosion.

They. Were. POOR.

They didn't have legions of squires keeping their shiny, mirror-finish stuff polished every day. They were lucky enough to have maybe a roof without a leak over their heads. About all they might've inherited from their folks were the potential to be a knight (and risk their lives for their overlords, and have to ask their bosses for the right to /get married/ [there's a reason why "bachelor knights" were a thing], 'cause the bosses would have to support any wife/kids) and maybe ONE set of armor, ONE sword, ONE horse (of possibly dubious age), ONE banner, etc.

Yeah, they were the dudes who'd park their banner at a tree at a crossroads and challenge anyone coming down the road to single combat (if it was worth it). If they won, they could get maybe a shield or something from the dude who lost to them. Later, when prize tournaments were a thing, they pretty much did that professionally, 'cause often, the "prizes" would be like poker antes, so they'd better win if they didn't want to give up, say, their one horse. But if they cheated and were caught at it, they'd forfeit their ante and be banned from participating any more. So, they'd follow the strict letter of the rules, but not necessarily bother themselves about "chivalry" and other such nonsense.

Hence, when the "shining armor" dudes would get their shiny butts handed to them, often, they'd whine and piss and moan around to their pet media stars -- er, troubadours, to write about how awful and terrible the spooky "Dark Knight!" was; otherwise, how could they have lost to them? X-P

But there have been times when independent journalists would start reporting the truth, and things would start to change. The muckrakers were like that during the gilded age. And today we have people like God and MeidasTouch beginning to get large audiences and spreading the word of Truth. They are the people who will change the direction of our country, which is why it’s important to restack their posts on Substack and other social media sites (except Twitter, that place is “a…wretched hive of scum and villainy”) to help others find our community of truth and integrity.

Quotas now top ALL propriety. ICE doesn't want Chump to come down on them like he has been. "Shoot first and ask questions later" is their mantra now.

Thanks for the memes, God! Keep them coming! We need the humor! Thank you, God!! Amen! Awomen!!

Well, God, for all my life ‘til now, I was taught mankind no longer had to pay for Thy indulgence because I was protected by the Constitution. With a rogue President, a lazy and Cowardly GOP in control of the House and Senate abdicating to that Toddler Tyrant, and a traitorous Supreme Court handing the Tyrant not a “get out of jail” card but a “don’t worry about going to jail in the first place, ever” card in a decision that Conservative Judge J. Michael Luttig (stalwart member of the Federalist Society but NOT Opus Dei) described as the “de-soul-ing” of America by not finding in the Constitution mind you, but pulling out of their collective backsides ,that one man is indeed above the law, I find that I better cover my own backside and leap upon Thy 20% off membership! With the Conservative 6 all having been ushered to their seats on the Supreme Court by Leonard Leo, all 6 being Right Wing Catholics, all Opus Dei or Opus Dei- adjacent and holding views to the right of Pope Francis and at least 70% of faithful American Catholic Voters in the pews, and JD Vance a Right-wing Catholic waiting in the wings as well, advocating an end to no-fault divorce, all abortion rights, contraception, and a woman’s right to vote, as a lapsed Catholic of Irish decent and gay to boot, I know Dogma from a Dog Whistle, don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind bloweth, and conclude I am better off skipping a feint at re-entry to the Church of Rome and that I better gettith myself right with Thee, God. And at 20% off, as well, hallelujah, you can give ol’ Martin Luther (the German, 500 years gone to Thee) a raised eyebrow the next time you see him, Your Immense Eminence.

BEWARE - Trump and his cohorts don't care about MAGA voters as they do not intend to ever have fair elections again, and they are working to make sure this happens. Their evil doing can still be stopped!!!!

From my friends Suzanne, yesterday on Facebook:

(KD Phalen):

'From a friend: this is not going to be a popular comment but here goes: someone told me their Frump loving, flag-flying neighbor just lost their job. i am just outside of DC and know a ton of people who are living in fear of job loss. my response: GO CATCH THEM. bake them cookies, bring them a beer, listen to their stories. if we don't CATCH THEM, WHO WILL? Frump's successor??? these people have been in a cult, following the rantings of a madman, a brilliant orator and a madman.

i'm not sure what the phases are of surfacing from a cult, but my guess is there will be shock and rage, a ton of blame shifting and "yeah but...ing" and then the grief, maybe shame? i dunno. and i am not calling on people to embrace their inner Buddha...okay, maybe i am. but come up w/ some standard lines..."i'm so sorry...didn't see this coming." or just say nothing and keep cracking open another beer.

we have to CATCH THEM if we are ever going to surface from this, if Frump is ever going to lose his power. he has to FAIL HIS FOLLOWERS for them to wake up from the trance, and when they do we have to be there else the wound festers and grows. we will all suffer along the way...but i believe it is the only way through this. this are very difficult days. ❤'

Well, to be fair, the gentleman in the video has a few points against him: he speaks with an accent, his skin is brown, he has a foreign-sounding name, and he claims to be a US citizen. This is enough to stop him for questioning and put the handcuffs on. How could the orange dumpster lie to him?

He says in the video that he doesn't know what happened to the two men who were with him. That's the other scary part of this incident.

I'm sorry—who is this "J.D. Vance" of which you refer?

The only one I know of wrote a fantasy novel called "HILLBILLY HYPOCRISY", I think? I know Opie Cunningham directed a movie about it....
