That was a most enjoyable interview. And God, you are the king of hard-hitting adorability. It's good to see your success building. We're with you in your fight to save us. Love the daily shows here lately, they make an excellent mood stabilizer.

Cherry-pickers. The Christian Nationalists are cherry-picking the Bible. I have been saying this. The only time they quote or refer to the New Testament is when they are looking for some way to validate what they want you to believe. Amen! Awomen! Ramen!

I grew up Catholic just like John did, and that was the message that I was taught. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus. Protestants have been taught the doctrine of “solo scritura” which means that they only believe in the Bible, but not really Christ. They’re followers of Martin Luther who was antisemitic and taught that belief and faith was more important than the teachings of Jesus.

That was an awesome episode. Nice to hear him say what I’ve been saying since I was about twelve: the Bible being a game of telephone on a massive scale.

By the way, Jesus is said to be both fully divine and fully human. I think the truth is that we are all all of that. The one big thing that neither religions nor governments want us to know is the we and God and Jesus are one and the same. Only the names, as it were, are changed. When we accept that we are what we have always searched for we will know the freedom that is already ours.

Brilliant! I was taught by Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart grades one through twelve. They never taught the Bible. I can see now why they didn’t. Thank you.
