If I wasn't obnoxious enough in the chat today, consider filling out a card at generalstrikeus.com. They need 11 million people to fill out a card, that will be enough people to organize a general strike. It's not looking great right now, only 300,000ish people have signed up. We need a central place to plan something this big. Join if you feel comfortable doing so. You never know who the drump regime will subpoena. Spread the word. I'm not sure what else we can do. Thanks, God.

What disappoints me in Democrat voters is they want the perfect candidate and they all have different ideas of what that looks like. So many will not vote because they're butt hurt (Bernie bros anyone?) or for some third party or write in without a prayer of winning. Many younger Dems did not vote for Harris because of Gaza. So many seem incapable of understanding that, yes, 2 party system blows, but that is what we have. Dont like it? Then get involved at the grassroots level and work for change. And while youre changing things WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE. Meanwhile the Republicans might end up with a turnip, but they throw their collective weight behind that turnip 100%.

And did the youngsters and the EXTREME left-wing folks (I know at least one who detests both parties because of Palestine) think that Trump was gonna be more reasonable, easier to convince re: Israel, than a Democrat?? The only reason Biden kept feeding them arms, I think, was because he figured the pro-Israel vote was gonna be bigger than the pro-Palestine one. :-/

As far as us being organized...Will Rogers, who tragically died in a plane crash in 1935, was a fairly famous comedian in his day; many pithy quotes are attributed to him. At one point, he was asked if he belonged to an organized political party, and he said, "Nope. I'm a Democrat."

"Nope. I'm a Democrat." BWAHAHAHAHA! That's right up there with "I wouldn't join any club that would have me for a member!"

I quite the Republicans a long, long time ago. I stayed registered so I could vote against incumbents in the primary and for dems in the general. But when I moved to a new state when I got married 20 years ago, I did not register dem because of the way they mishandled, or made no attempt to handle the Swift Boating of Kerry. I've been an independent since then and doubt I'll change. I still vote D, but I'm not terribly impressed with their campaign management.

This is a MUST-HEAR episode! Listen as soon as you can! Explains a lot about what we really face and how to resist effectively and beyond the rallies! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anat! I loved to listen to your views! God interrupted too often! I've reached out and sent clips and links to all my nieces and nephews and cousins. I am going to ask my extended family to agree on a 2 day sit out!

Can someone tell me what is so great about Republican messaging???

Hate trans kids and the border! That's all I saw in 2024. No, Jobs, or healthcare, or childcare, just hate.

Where do they share the message? Fox News? Twitter? All the now far-rightwing mainstream media outlets?

I've seen people talk about "if someone doesn't think they can have joy in their lives, they'll settle for hate." :-/

Apparently, the Mango Mussolini gave them "permission" to be awful human beings, so that's what they take and run with.

The silver lining, if you can call it that, is that even Trumpians are getting "buyer's remorse," though I can't anticipate them voting Democrat any time soon; not after all the times we've been called America-hating demons, etc. :-/

You want to make an impression without a general strike? Organize a week without using Facebook, or Amazon, or Doordash. Some people can barely go a day without using one of those.

Amazon is almost impossible to not use these days as Amazon Web Services hosts things such as Netflix' streaming services and many other things that you have no way of knowing. but you can hold on to your shopping dollars or buy locally, which you should be considering as it supports your local job base. I avoid getting my meds mail-order for just that reason.

I wish I could. But Wal-Mart is the only pharmacy in town and I live in a reddddddd area (as in I pass a field sometimes where there is a confederate flag flying and a larger than life size statue of the Fanta Menace) so many local merchants are MAGA.

I’m very worried about the fact that there is no stopping the gop, and both of these presidencies, even with that criminal being impeached but not removed three times……it’s like they are reshaping what should be considered moral lawmaking (NOT) in this country, and we are losing any power in the elections. I cannot even opine with post-Protestant/Conservative people. I think we should re-shape the electoral. Whew! Bullied. Etc ad nauseam.

Anat Shenker-Osorio is truly spot on with respect to Kamala Harris! I feel she didn't have enough time to figure out what to emphasize in her campaign and even though she did mention Project 2025 many Americans didn't understand what it was. Plus I do believe she should have been more inclusive. And yes he ISN'T protecting us!
